A sisterhood for women all over the world who are entering into their next step of womanhood, one that is quite beautiful, yet not acknowledged:

PERI-MENOPAUSE & MENOPAUSE

about the founder

Hello, my name is Martha Rabinovich. I’m a 56-year-old woman living and learning through menopause. I am determined to change the mindsets and perspectives of what menopause means by rebranding it as an exciting chapter to look forward to. The physical and emotional changes I experience leave me feeling alone, and I don’t want other women to feel the same. I know there is a community for us and I am here to bring us together.

Menopause is not the transition into becoming less of a woman, nor is it the transition to losing our feminine abilities. Instead, Menopause, or as we call it, Her Best Years, is a new and exciting stage of life for women.

A timeless, sophisticated flower that no doubt carries a powerful embodiment of love and desire. Each individual rose color also carries an even more profound symbol. You will find that each different colored rose provides a distinct meaning and we hope that when receiving, giving, or seeing the rose of that color, you now have a newfound connection not only to the rose but to her best years sisterhood.

  • According to the National Institute on Aging, menopause is technically reached 12 months after a woman's last period. It is also categorized by changes in monthly cycles, hot flashes, and other symptoms.

The menopausal transition most often begins between ages 45 and 55. It usually lasts about seven years but can be as long as 14 years. The duration can depend on lifestyle factors such as smoking, age at it begins, race, and ethnicity. During perimenopause, the body's production of testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone varies greatly.

The menopausal transition affects each woman uniquely and in various ways. The body begins to use energy differently. Fat cells change, and women may gain weight more quickly. Women may experience changes in bone or heart health, body shape, composition, or physical function.
